Scheduling Your First Visit at Clark County Detention Center: Onsite vs Remote Video Visits
Scheduling your first visit at Clark County Detention Center comes down to one decision: do you want a free onsite visit or a paid remote video visit? Once you've picked, it's just a matter of registering, getting approved, and booking a 25-minute slot.
CCDC gives you two options: visit in person at the facility for free, or pay for a remote video visit from wherever you are. Remote visits became available on 10/8/2024 and are scheduled separately in the booking system. You'll need to decide upfront which type you want - the system handles them differently.
Note: When you schedule, you must choose the correct visit type. If you want to visit from home (or anywhere offsite), select a “Remote Visit” time.
Before you can book anything, you need to register as a visitor. Do it online through the GTL Visitor website (clarkcountynv.gtlvisitme.com/app), or register in person at Clark County Detention Center, 330 S. Casino Center Blvd.
- ✓ Upload a photo of yourself
- ✓ Upload a photo of your driver’s license
- ✓ Wait for CCDC approval if you’re newly registered (you can’t schedule until you’re approved)
Online registration is available 24/7. Set up your account whenever it's convenient - late at night, on the weekend, or during a lunch break.
Prefer to register in person? CCDC accepts walk-in registrations daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Once you're registered, schedule visits through the same GTL Visitor website. Pick your date and time, then select whether you want an onsite or remote visit.
- ✓ Visit length (onsite and remote): 25 minutes
- ✓ Remote video visit cost: $6.25 per 25-minute session
Onsite visiting runs in set time blocks. Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. All public visits happen at 330 S. Casino Center Blvd. - there's no public visitation at the North Valley Complex.
Tip: Arrive early to check in. Your visit time starts when the scheduled visit begins, not when you walk in.
If your visit gets cancelled, just book another slot for a different day. Visits are scheduled in 25-minute sessions, so rescheduling means picking a new appointment that works for you.
- Log into GTL Visitor Web - use the same account you registered with.
- Pick a new date and time - select an available slot.
- Confirm the visit type before you finalize - choose onsite if you’re going to CCDC, or select a “Remote Visit” time if you’re visiting remotely.
