Video visits & JailATM communications at Clarke County Jail: costs, schedule, email, and attorney visits

Clarke County Jail handles all public visits through JailATM video calls. You won't find in-person visits at the lobby.

Attorneys and other professionals can visit in person at the facility - those visits are handled separately from the public video system.

For friends and family, visiting means scheduling a video call through JailATM. The jail doesn't allow walk-in public visits - video is the only option.

Scheduled video visits run 15 minutes and cost $3.75.

Unscheduled visits cost $0.25 per minute - useful for a quick check-in when you can't commit to a full scheduled block.

• ✓ 6:00–9:00 p.m.

The jail uses JailATM for email too. Inmates pay $0.50 per email, with a collect email option also available.

You can send emails through JailATM for $0.50 each.

Attorney and professional visits work differently. These happen in person at the facility, not through the JailATM video system.

1. Plan ahead - attorneys need to make special arrangements at least 24 hours in advance.
2. Request the visit through the facility’s process - build in that lead time so the visit can be scheduled and approved.
