Sending Food Packages Through Union Supply: Ordering, Limits and Fees for Georgia DOC Families

Clayton County CI is a Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) State Prison, so it qualifies for Union Supply food packages. If you're on the approved visitor list, you can place an order on behalf of the person you know inside.

To order by mail, send your completed form to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059. Use the address exactly as listed - small errors can cause delays or returned orders.

You can also place an order by phone. Call 1-562-361-5719, or use the toll-free number 1-855-247-0563.

If you prefer fax, you can place a fax order through Union Supply at 1-310-603-1188.

Want to order online? Start by downloading the order form from the Georgia Inmate Package website. The form lists every item pre-approved by GDC, so you'll know exactly what you can send.

For GDC State Prisons (including Clayton County CI) and Integrated Treatment Facilities, the limit is $100 or 15 pounds per package - whichever you hit first. If your cart is under $100 but the weight pushes past 15 pounds, the weight limit still applies.

Probation Detention Centers have stricter limits: $50 or 7 pounds per package, whichever comes first.

Placing multiple orders for the same person? Union Supply will combine them into one package. That combined package still has to stay within GDC's spending and weight limits - separate orders won't get you extra boxes if the total exceeds the cap.

Every order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling charge. That fee is non-refundable.

Keep an eye on the ordering deadline - orders received after the cutoff won't be accepted. And since the $2.95 shipping fee is non-refundable, double-check everything before you submit.

Practical Tips

  • Download the Union Supply order form from the Georgia Inmate Package website so you’re choosing from items that are pre-approved by GDC.
  • If you’re mailing an order, address it exactly to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.
  • If you’re ordering by phone, use 1-562-361-5719 or toll-free 1-855-247-0563.
  • If you’re ordering by fax, send it to 1-310-603-1188.
  • Confirm which type of facility your loved one is housed in before you order, since limits differ (State Prisons/ITFs vs. Probation Detention Centers).
  • For Clayton County CI (a State Prison), keep the order within $100 per offender or 15 pounds per package - whichever comes first.
  • Remember that multiple orders for the same offender can be consolidated into one package, and the combined package still can’t exceed the GDC limits.
