How to Send Money to Facility

This facility accepts several ways to add funds to an inmate trust fund account. You can send Money Orders or Cashier's Checks, or set up ACH (Monthly Checking Account Debit) using the ACH Authorization form. The facility also lists several deposit vendors and systems you may be able to use: ACE (America's Cash Express), eCommDirect (Texas.gov), JPay, and the TouchPay Payment System.

Want to confirm your money arrived? Inmate Trust Fund staff can tell you whether a deposit was received. However, they cannot share account activity or balance details with anyone except the inmate. If you need more than a simple "received or not received" answer, your loved one will need to check their account information directly.

How to Send Money to Facility

Steps-to-follow

  • Choose an accepted deposit option: Money Order, Cashier's Check, ACH (Monthly Checking Account Debit), or an approved deposit vendor/system (ACE, eCommDirect, JPay, or TouchPay).
  • If you want to use ACH, make sure you complete the ACH Authorization form as part of setting it up.
  • If you want to use a vendor/system (ACE, eCommDirect, JPay, or TouchPay), follow that provider’s deposit instructions for this facility.

After you send money, hold onto whatever proof you get from the method you used (a receipt, transaction confirmation, etc.). If you need to check whether it reached the trust fund, Inmate Trust Fund staff can answer questions about receipt of a deposit.

Before sending money, confirm which deposit methods are currently available for your loved one. Options include Money Orders or Cashier's Checks, ACH (Monthly Checking Account Debit) using the ACH Authorization form, or one of the listed vendors (ACE, eCommDirect, JPay, or TouchPay). Checking first helps you avoid a method that's temporarily unavailable or set up differently than you expect.

Note: Trust Fund staff can confirm whether a deposit was received, but they will not share account activity or balance information with anyone except the inmate. When you contact them, ask what details they need from you to look up a deposit receipt.
