How to send messages, photos, and packages
Communication and visits at Clements Unit start with the online visitation scheduler. You must create your own visitor account. TDCJ staff can't create it for you, and the email tied to your account can't be changed after registration. During setup, watch for an email with a 7-digit validation code. You'll need it to complete registration. If you forget your scheduler password, use the Forgot Password/Reset link, enter your registered email, and follow the reset steps sent to you. The scheduler lists several visit types, including a Video/Tablet option that is not the same as the Securus Video program. More broadly, Texas units may offer phones, video visits, electronic messaging, and inmate tablets, but options and vendors vary by unit.

Mailing someone at the Clements Unit? The biggest change is where you send the envelope. Since September 6, 2023, personal mail goes through TDCJ's digital mail processing center and gets delivered electronically.
