Sending Food Packages to Someone at Coastal State Prison (Union Supply): Step-by-Step

Union Supply handles food package orders for Georgia State Prisons, Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), and Probation Detention Centers (PDCs). If you're an approved family member or friend, you can place orders through any of the methods Union Supply offers.

Sending Food Packages to Someone at Coastal State Prison (Union Supply): Step-by-Step

If you want to mail in a paper order, send it to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059. Double-check the address on your envelope before you send it so it routes to the correct department.

  • Phone order: 1-562-361-5719
  • Toll-free phone order: 1-855-247-0563

You can also place an order by fax using 1-310-603-1188.

To order online, head to the Georgia Inmate Package website. You'll find downloadable order forms there, along with the complete list of items GDC has pre-approved. GDC also posts a downloadable PDF of the program page - worth saving for quick reference when you need to double-check rules or limits.

Watch the program deadline closely. Orders received after the cutoff won't be accepted - so don't wait until the last minute, especially if you're mailing or faxing.

Shipping/handling fee: Every order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling charge, and it’s non-refundable.

State Prisons (including Coastal State Prison) and ITFs have a $100 max per offender or 15 lbs. per package - whichever you hit first. So even if you're under $100, your order can still get capped if it exceeds 15 lbs.

Probation Detention Centers have tighter limits: $50 per offender or 7 lbs. per package, whichever comes first. Keep both the dollar total and weight in mind as you build your order.

Heads up on multiple orders: If more than one order is placed for the same offender, the orders will be consolidated into one package and still can’t exceed the applicable spending or weight limits.

  1. Download the order form from the Georgia Inmate Package website - the form includes the full list of items pre-approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections.
  2. Choose only from the pre-approved list - using the form as your guide helps you avoid selecting items the offender can’t receive.
  3. Save the program PDF for reference - GDC provides a downloadable PDF version of the program page, so you can quickly re-check rules like deadlines, fees, and limits when you need to.

Exception: Riverbend Private Prison in Georgia continues to use the Access Securepak package program (not Union Supply) until further notice, so always confirm the correct vendor for the facility before you place an order.
