Columbia County Prison Weekend Visit Schedule: Times by Housing Unit

Saturday face-to-face visits for A Unit run from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. If your loved one is housed in A Unit, plan around this morning window.

D North Unit visits on Saturdays run from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This is the midday block, so plan accordingly.

D South Unit visitation on Saturdays is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. If you're visiting someone in D South, be ready for this afternoon time block.

Sunday face-to-face visitation is also organized by housing unit. If you're visiting someone in B Unit, confirm the current Sunday time block with the prison before you travel.

F Unit has its own designated Sunday time block. Check the current schedule ahead of time so you show up during the correct window.

C Unit also has its own Sunday time block. Verify the hours before you head in, especially if you're traveling from out of town.

Columbia County Prison allows one face-to-face visit per resident each week. If multiple family members want to come, coordinate ahead of time so that one weekly visit doesn't get used up unexpectedly.

Each face-to-face visit is capped at 30 minutes. Even if you arrive right when your housing unit's block begins, the visit itself won't go past that half-hour.

If your loved one just arrived at the prison, visits can't happen during the initial 48-hour classification period. This catches a lot of families off guard, so give it time before trying to schedule a visit.
