How to Send Money to Facility
Sending money comes down to following the right deposit instructions and picking the correct service for what you need (account deposits versus phone calls). Here are the two supported options, plus what to double-check before you send anything.
For money order deposits, mail to: JPay, PO Box 260130, Hollywood, FL 33026. Make the money order payable to JPay, and write the incarcerated person's name and ID on the "memo" or "used for" line. Fill out the deposit slip clearly, using typed or printed text in blue or black ink. Only send the payment materials. Don't include letters or notes; they'll be thrown away.
AdvancePay works differently from a general deposit. It's a prepaid calling option: you load money onto your own AdvancePay phone number, and your incarcerated loved one can then call you using that prepaid balance.
Steps to Follow
- ✓ Mail JPay money orders for deposit to: JPay, PO Box 260130, Hollywood, FL 33026.
- ✓ Use AdvancePay by placing money on your prepaid AdvancePay phone number so your incarcerated loved one can call using that balance.
Before sending money, confirm a few things that can change. Double-check that the JPay money order mailing address is still current and that JPay money orders are accepted for deposits for your loved one. For AdvancePay, verify the facility actually uses AdvancePay for phone calls, and make sure you're funding the correct prepaid phone number tied to your account. The available instructions don't cover fees, deposit limits, processing times, or which money order types are accepted in every case. Check with the facility or the service provider before mailing a payment or loading a phone account.
Note: Not sure which option to use? Contact the facility or the service provider first. A quick confirmation can save you from delays or a rejected payment.
