Sending Money by Mail to a Florida DOC Inmate: JPay Money Order Instructions
Sending funds by mail to someone in Florida DOC? The two things that matter most: using the right mailing address and clearly identifying who the deposit is for.
Mail your JPay money order to: JPay, PO Box 260130, Hollywood, FL 33026. Getting this address right is critical. It routes your payment to the correct processing center and avoids unnecessary delays.
Write the offender's name and DC number on the money order's memo line (sometimes labeled "used for"). This identifier is how JPay matches your payment to the correct inmate account during processing.
Keep an eye on the amount. The maximum for a single money order is $999.99, so don't go above that limit.
Once JPay receives your mailing, approved money orders are processed within 10 business days. If you're trying to time a canteen order or hit another deadline, factor that processing window into your plan.
Don't include letters or notes in the envelope. Any letters or notes sent with your money order will be thrown away.
You don't need a JPay account to send money orders by mail. If setting up an online account is a barrier, the mail-in method works just fine as long as you fill out the information correctly.
