How to Send Money to Someone at Columbus Correctional (mail, ConnectNetwork, Western Union)
You have three ways to send money to someone at Columbus Correctional: mail a money order, pay by card through ConnectNetwork, or pay cash at Western Union. Which one works best depends on how quickly you need the funds to arrive and how much you're willing to pay in fees.
Need it faster? ConnectNetwork lets you pay with a credit or debit card through their Android/iOS app or by phone at 888-428-1845. If you're working with cash, Western Union handles trust deposits in person - just make sure you use the correct payment code when sending.
Heads up on fees: Money orders sent by mail have no service fees. Card payments through ConnectNetwork and Western Union deposits typically do.
Make your money order payable to "TouchPay Holdings". The maximum is $300, and it must be in U.S. dollars.
Include the required deposit form with your money order. Fill out every field using blue or black ink, and write clearly - sloppy handwriting or missing info can delay processing.
Mail only the completed deposit form and the money order to: TouchPay Holdings, LLC PO Box 174 Houston, TX 77001-0174
Common Mistakes
- ✓ Complete every field on the deposit form, and write legibly in blue or black ink.
- ✓ Do not include staples, paper clips, stamps, cash, letters, photos, or any other items.
- ✓ Mail only the deposit form and the money order.
One important rule: NCDAC only allows deposits from people on the offender's approved visitors list. If you're not on that list, the vendor will reject your deposit.
ConnectNetwork accepts credit or debit card payments for trust deposits. You can pay through their Android/iOS app or call (888) 428-1845 to complete the transaction by phone.
Prefer to pay cash? Head to any Western Union location and use the payment code "NCDAC TRUST" for trust deposits. This ensures your payment gets routed to the right place.
Know the risk with mail: TouchPay is not responsible for money orders lost in transit. If they receive your money order but something's wrong with the deposit, they'll mail it back along with the deposit slip to the sender address you wrote on the form.
- Wait at least one week - don’t email about a mailed money order until no sooner than one week after you sent it.
- Email support - contact moneyorders@viapath.com and explain the issue.
- Include the right details - provide the sender address you put on the deposit slip and a copy of the money order, since that’s the address TouchPay uses if they have to return it due to a deposit problem.
