How to Schedule, Add Visitors to, or Cancel a Visit with Someone in GDC Custody

To become an approved visitor for someone in a GDC facility, you need to fill out the Visitation Request Form. Once complete, submit it directly to the facility where your loved one is housed. Send it to the specific prison or center where they're currently incarcerated, not to a central office.

1. Open GDC’s scheduled visit form - This is the form GDC uses for scheduled visitation requests.
2. Fill out the request - Enter the information the form asks for so GDC can match your request to the correct person and facility.
3. Submit the form - Once you submit, your request is sent through GDC’s scheduled visit system.

1. Go to GDC’s “Add Visitor” link - This tool is used when you already have a scheduled visit.
2. Find your scheduled visitation - Look up the existing appointment in the system.
3. Add the additional visitor(s) - Use the “Add Visitor” option to attach extra visitors to that same scheduled visit.

2. Find your scheduled visitation appointment - Locate the visit you need to cancel.
3. Cancel the appointment - Confirm the cancellation through the system so the scheduled visit is removed.
