Before sending money, confirm that the jail or prison actually uses NCIC for inmate accounts. NCIC notes that services vary by facility, so even if you see an option in the app or portal, it may not be available for Conway County Detention Center. Not sure? Check the facility's information pages or call the detention center directly to ask what service they use for adding funds and commissary.

Start at the NCIC account login page. You'll see the standard login fields (email address and password), plus quick links for common tasks: registering as a new user, resetting your password with "Forgot Password," and jumping straight to "Add Funds." There's also a "Rates and Tariffs" link where you can review pricing details before you pay.

  1. Decide if you need to register or sign in - If you have never used NCIC before, use the “Register Here” link from the login page.
  2. Use “Forgot Password” if you cannot log in - The login page includes a “Forgot Password” option so you can reset access instead of creating a duplicate account.
  3. Return to the login screen after you are set up - Once you can sign in, you can use the same login page links to head to “Add Funds” or review “Rates and Tariffs.”
  1. Open “Add Funds” - From the NCIC login page, choose the “Add Funds” link.
  2. Find the right location - In the add-funds area, you may see an option to “Browse All States and Countries.” Use it to narrow down where you are sending money.
  3. Select the correct facility and person - Choose the facility and the incarcerated person carefully so funds go to the right account.
  4. Choose a payment method (if offered) - NCIC advertises adding funds using a credit or debit card. Follow the prompts to enter card details if that option is available for your facility.
  5. Review and submit - Double-check the selected facility/person and the amount, then submit the payment when everything looks right.

Note: NCIC says services vary by facility. If you don't see the same options (like the browse tool or a card payment option), that's likely a facility setting, not something you did wrong.

NCIC accepts credit or debit cards for adding funds. Need to check what you've already paid? The NCIC app includes a "Review account history" feature, which helps you track past activity tied to your account.

  • If you cannot sign in, use the “Forgot Password” link on the NCIC login page.
  • If you are a first-time user, use “Register Here” from the login page (do not try to force a login that you never created).
  • If you are trying to add money, make sure you are using the “Add Funds” link (not just the standard login fields).
  • Check “Rates and Tariffs” before paying so you understand the listed pricing information.
  • If the page layout looks different than expected, go back to the login page and use the built-in links again (Register, Forgot Password, Add Funds, Rates and Tariffs).

  • Check “Rates and Tariffs” before you submit a payment.
  • Use a strong password for your NCIC account and keep your login and card information private.
  • If a feature you expected is missing, remember that NCIC services vary by facility. Confirm Conway County Detention Center supports the option you are trying to use.
