The Statewide Visit Unit handles visitor record updates for Coyote Ridge. Reach them by email or leave a voicemail on the general visit phone line. Include the incarcerated person's name and six-digit DOC number so staff can pull up the right record. After you send your request, expect a follow-up to verify your identity - they may ask for additional details before making changes. If you're leaving a voicemail, keep it brief: the incarcerated person's name and DOC number, what you need updated, and how to reach you.
Need to update your name on your visitor record? Contact the Statewide Visit Unit by email or voicemail. Include the incarcerated person's name and DOC number, along with your current name, previous name, and the state or country where your ID was issued. Your visitor record needs to match your current government-issued ID. If the names don't line up, you'll run into problems at check-in. The Statewide Visit Unit may follow up to verify your identity and request additional details before updating your record.

- Include the incarcerated individual’s details - provide their name and DOC number.
- List what you want changed - write out your new address, email address, phone number, or any combination you need updated.
Change Relationship to Immediate Family
- ✓ Copies of official documents showing the relationship change (for example, marriage and/or birth certificates)
- ✓ Mail the copies via USPS to: Department of Corrections, Attn: Statewide Visit Unit, Post Office Box 41118, Olympia, WA 98504-1118
Want to be removed from someone's Approved Visitor List? You'll need to request it directly. Send a written request to the Headquarters Visit Unit at PO Box 41118, Olympia, WA 98504-1118, or email the Statewide Visit Unit. Once you're removed, your visitor status for that person ends.
Note: After removal from an Approved Visitor List, you must wait 90 calendar days before applying to visit the same or another incarcerated person. This waiting period may be waived if you never actually visited that person or haven't visited in the last 90 days.
