Craggy Correctional Center allows both in-person and video visitation for people in NCDAC custody. In-person visits are appointment-only—call or email to schedule, then call the day before to confirm your visit is still approved. Your visitor application must be completed and approved before you can visit. The offender requests and mails blank forms, and each offender may have up to 18 approved visitors. If you're 16 or older, include a copy of an approved photo ID with your application. Minors under 16 need a birth certificate instead. The platform advertises no upfront or connection fees; you're charged only for actual session time. Since communication services run through third-party vendor portals, you'll create and sign into a vendor account to schedule visits, manage contacts, or add funds. One thing to know: ConnectNetwork Friends & Family accounts go inactive after 180 consecutive days without activity, and getting a refund requires contacting their customer service.

At Craggy Correctional Center, non-legal mail goes through TextBehind. The vendor screens and scans letters, greeting cards, photos, and artwork, then delivers the scanned images to the offender's electronic tablet. To send paper mail, address it to TextBehind, P.O. Box 247, Phoenix, MD 21131. Include the recipient's full name, OPUS number, and "Craggy Correctional Center" on every item. Want your originals back? Request their return within 30 days for a $2.50 per-letter fee. Otherwise, originals are shredded after that window. TextBehind doesn't process packages—they'll be returned to sender. Publishers or vendors should ship publications directly to the facility's street address. Religious correspondence courses require pre-approval through a Request for Assistance.

To add money to someone's trust/commissary account at Craggy CC, you can send a mailed money order. Make it payable to TouchPay, include the required facility deposit slip, and mail it to TouchPay Holdings, PO Box 174, Houston, TX 77001-0174. Mailed deposits take up to ten business days to post, so plan ahead if funds are needed quickly. Fees apply—a Money Transfer Fees schedule (effective August 1, 2023) lists costs by deposit amount and channel. Common deposit options in North Carolina include web/mobile apps, phone, walk-in retail/kiosk locations, and mailed money orders.
