How to Send Mail, Photos, and Legal Documents to Someone at Craig County Jail

Craig County Jail changed how regular mail works on August 1, 2020. All non-legal and non-commercial mail now has to go either electronically through jailATM.com or to the jailATM vendor address - not directly to the jail. For personal letters, greeting cards, or photos, use this format: JailATM.com – Craig County Jail Inmate ID#: Inmate Full Name 12101 N. MacArthur Blvd. Ste. A. Box #421 Oklahoma City, OK 73162

Your mail won't arrive as a physical envelope. The vendor scans everything and delivers it electronically to inmates through kiosks or tablets inside the facility. Once scanned, the original gets destroyed. Treat anything you send as a one-way trip - you won't get it back.

Print the inmate's full name and ID number clearly on the outside of your envelope or postcard. That name-and-ID match is how the system routes scanned mail to the right person. Missing or illegible info can mean delays, misdirection, or mail that never arrives.

Heads up: If the inmate’s full name and ID number aren’t clear on the outside, the vendor may not be able to deliver the scanned mail to the kiosk/tablet system, which increases the chance it gets lost or rejected.

Want your message delivered faster? Skip the physical mail and send electronic correspondence through jailATM.com. You can attach photos, and your message goes through immediately to Craig County inmates.

Note: jailATM.com is the approved platform for Craig County Jail's non-legal, non-commercial correspondence since August 1, 2020.

Everything sent to the jailATM vendor address gets scanned, delivered electronically, and then destroyed. If your document needs to arrive as an original - not a scan - use the legal/commercial mail process instead.

Legal and commercial mail works differently at Craig County Jail. Those items should continue to be sent directly to the Craig County Jail - not to the jailATM vendor address used for personal mail.

  1. Confirm the jail’s requirements first - legal mail can be time-sensitive, and you don’t want it routed into the scanning process by mistake.
  2. Use the jail’s official mailing address - send legal and commercial items to Craig County Jail (not the jailATM vendor address).
  3. Add tracking when deadlines matter - consider certified or tracked mail so you have proof of delivery.
