Sending Food Packages to Someone at Crisp County: What You Can Order and What It Costs

Georgia's Department of Corrections (GDC) partners with Union Supply to deliver food packages to people at Probation Detention Centers. If the person you're supporting is housed there, this is the approved program you'll use.

You don't need to be the person in custody to place an order - approved family and friends can order through Union Supply on their behalf.

Want to order quickly? Call 1-562-361-5719, or use the toll-free number 1-855-247-0563.

Prefer mail? Send your order to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.

Fax works too - send orders to 1-310-603-1188.

To see what's available and order online, visit the Georgia Inmate Package website and download the order forms. These forms list every item GDC has pre-approved, which helps you avoid picking something that won't make it through.

GDC caps each package at $50 or 7 pounds - whichever limit you hit first. So if your cart totals $40 but weighs 8 pounds, you're over. Same goes the other way around.

Multiple orders for the same person can be combined into one package. But that combined package still can't exceed the limits. Coordinate with other family members before everyone submits separate orders - otherwise you might bump up against the cap.

Union Supply charges $2.95 for shipping and handling on every order. That fee is non-refundable, so double-check your selections before you submit.

Deadline reminder: Orders received after the program deadline won't be accepted.
