Before you can schedule a video visit with someone at Crowley, you have to be an approved visitor on the inmate’s visiting list. Once you’re approved, you can set up your video visiting account and schedule visits online through Securus.

  • ✓ Submit a copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID with the visiting application
  • ✓ Make sure the address on your photo ID matches the address you put on the visiting application (a mismatch can lead to your application being denied)

Once you're approved, create your Securus account online. This is where you'll schedule all your video visits for Crowley. Take a minute to double-check your details before booking anything.

Assume your call is being monitored - because it is. Everyone who appears on camera must be an approved visitor on the inmate's list. If someone unapproved shows up, the visit can be terminated and you could face a suspension.

Note: During a video visit, both the offender and the approved visitor must be visually identifiable. Faces can’t be covered or obscured.

Note: Nudity of any kind is prohibited during video visits.

If a child will be on camera at any point, they need to be fully clothed the entire time - even if they're only visible for a moment.

Set up your camera view before connecting so your whole face stays visible throughout. If you wear a head covering for personal or religious reasons, position it so it doesn't block your face on screen. And if you're holding a child or they wander into frame, treat them as part of the visit - keep them fully clothed and assume staff will end the session if anything violates the nudity rule.
