Bringing a Child to Visit at Curran-Fromhold: Eligibility, Documents, and Timing

At Curran-Fromhold (CFCF), children can visit starting at six months old. A child must be with a parent or guardian for the visit - children can’t come on their own or with someone who isn’t acting as their parent/guardian for the visit.

Required Documents

  • Proof of custody (for the adult bringing the child)
  • The child’s birth certificate

CFCF doesn't allow children to visit during school hours. Plan for after school, weekends, or school breaks - otherwise you risk being turned away at check-in.

Only one adult and one child can visit an incarcerated person at a time. If more family members want to come, you'll need to rotate - different adults or children on different days rather than everyone at once.
