You can mail a money order to Dauphin County Prison, Attention: Business Office, 501 Mall Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Dropping one in the front-entry drop box works too. Either way, write the inmate's full name and DCP# clearly on the money order - that's how it gets credited to the right account.

Note: Don’t include personal correspondence in the envelope with a mailed money order. Keep the mailing strictly for the money order.

Missing information is the main reason money orders get delayed. Before you seal the envelope or head to the drop box, double-check that the inmate's name and DCP# are written correctly.

Prefer to deposit in person? There's a kiosk in the main lobby at Dauphin County Prison. It accepts both cash and credit cards.

Cash deposits post automatically - no waiting. If timing matters, cash at the kiosk is your fastest option.

Credit card deposits take up to three hours to hit the inmate's account. Still quick, just not instant like cash.

  1. Go to ConnectNetwork’s website - start at www.connectnetwork.com.
  2. Create your account - follow the prompts to set up a login.
  3. Select the right facility - choose “Dauphin County Prison” before creating the account so your deposit routes correctly.
