How to add commissary money or buy items through DD Vending for Dearborn County Jail

DD Vending gives you two ways to support someone at Dearborn County Jail. Choose “Purchase Gift Voucher” to add money to their commissary account, or use “Store” to buy specific commissary items.

You need a DD Vending account for either transaction. The name and address in your account profile must match the name and mailing address used for your credit card.

To add commissary money, use the gift-voucher path. The second page shows the terms and conditions. You must review them and check the acceptance box, or the transaction will not complete.

1. Select “Purchase Gift Voucher” and follow the instructions to add money to the inmate’s commissary account.
2. On the second page, review the terms and conditions and check the acceptance box.

If you want to buy specific items instead, start in “Store.” Select your items first, then choose the recipient and delivery option during checkout.

1. Open the “Store” tab and select the items you want to purchase.
2. Add your selections to “Cart.”
3. Go to “Checkout.”

At checkout, enter your credit card information and select the inmate who will receive the order. Products delivered to the jail carry no additional shipping charge.

1. Complete the credit-card information.
2. Enter the first three letters of the inmate’s first name and click “search inmate.”
3. Select the inmate by clicking the radio button to the left of their name.
4. On the left side, select “deliver to inmate.”
