Where to Go for On‑Site Video Visits at Denton County Jail and what to expect when you arrive
On-site visits at Denton County Jail happen by video kiosk — not face-to-face. Knowing which entrance to use makes the whole process smoother.
Head to the Pod Jail Public Entrance on the Woodrow St side of the jail complex. The address is 127 Woodrow Lane, Denton, TX 76205. All visits here are conducted by video kiosk, and you'll need to be registered with HomeWav before you arrive - the same registration works for both remote visits and on-site kiosk visits.
Kiosk Availability Limits
- ✓ Two public video visitation kiosks are available for on-site visits.
- ✓ A maximum of three visitors are allowed per visit.
- ✓ No more than two adults may be at the kiosk at any time.
Even though you're physically at the jail, you'll still be talking through a video screen. Everyone who plans to participate needs to register online with HomeWav ahead of time - this applies whether you're visiting remotely from home or using the public kiosks on-site.
Don't arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Show up too early and you may not be allowed to wait inside.
