What to Expect During Visitor Processing at DRDC (UV Stamp, Consent Form, and Hours)
Visitor processing at the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center (DRDC) is straightforward once you know the steps. Here's what to expect—processing hours, ID checks, the consent-to-search form, and the UV hand stamp.
DRDC only processes visitors during two windows: 8:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Miss those times, and you may not be able to visit that day.
CDOC policy requires visitors at medium-custody or higher facilities to get an ultraviolet (UV) hand stamp before entry. A staff member will stamp the back of your right hand with a UV marker. Children under three are exempt.
Tip: You won't get in without the UV stamp - factor that step into your arrival routine.
At check-in, you'll complete AR Form 300-01B, the Offender Visitor Consent to Search Authorization. This is the standard registration and consent-to-search form required for entry.
Good to know: Once you complete AR Form 300-01B, it stays on file and remains in effect at the facility for one year.
