Starting January 2024, Douglas County Jail participates in the Access Corrections Package Program. This lets friends and family order eligible commissary products online for an Adult in Custody (AIC) - an alternative to relying solely on in-facility commissary purchases.

You'll need to create an account on the Access Corrections Packages website before placing an order. Once that's done, you can browse and purchase items for the AIC.

$50 limit: An AIC can receive up to $50 worth of products through the Access Corrections Package Program.

Timing matters. Money is deducted from your account the moment you place an order - not when it's delivered. Once submitted, the property belongs to the AIC.

Non-refundable: Purchases made through the Access Corrections Package Program for Douglas County Jail are non-refundable.

If the AIC leaves the facility before commissary is distributed, they're responsible for picking it up. Douglas County Jail gives them 48 hours after delivery to claim it. Miss that window, and the items are disposed of.
