Action Steps

  • If you see “Relation Requests Pending Approval” - wait for TDCJ/unit staff to approve and confirm the relationship; if your visit is time-sensitive, call the unit to ask for a status update.
  • If it reads “Not Approved for Visits” - contact unit staff to confirm whether visitation privileges have been removed or if anything needs to be reauthorized before you can schedule.
  • If expected dates don’t appear - look at other weeks; the scheduler won’t show dates that fall in a week where the inmate already has a visit scheduled.
