How to Send Money to Someone at Frank Lee Community Based Facility

1. Get your barcode after you register. CashPayToday locations accept either a printed barcode or a barcode image on your phone.
2. Bring the barcode to the register and present it when you are ready to pay cash.
3. Tell the clerk the payment type by saying you are making a “VANILLA DIRECT PAY” bill payment, then tell them how much you are sending.

To send money by mail, include a money order and the Money Order Deposit Form (deposit coupon). Mail both to: Access Corrections, Alabama DOC, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132. Fill out the deposit form carefully. The instructions warn you to complete all fields and verify the recipient's name and ID. If staff cannot determine the proper recipient, the money order or check will be returned.

Mailed deposits can take up to a week to process, so this is not the best choice if funds are needed quickly. There is also a daily mailed deposit limit of $900.00 per deposit.

If a money order or check is returned, there is a $25 handling fee. Double-check the deposit form details before mailing to avoid getting hit with a return.

For larger deposits, federal law requires the sender to provide their Social Security Number for deposits (or combined deposits) of $3,000 or more.
