How to Schedule Your First Visit with an Inmate at Eastham Unit (TDCJ Online Scheduler)

Your first visit at Eastham Unit starts with the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler. Here's the basic flow: create your scheduler account, add the inmate to your profile, submit a Relationship Request for unit verification, then schedule your visit once approved. You'll manage everything through the statewide scheduler at https://visitation.tdcj.texas.gov/Visitation/startLoginAction.action.

Head to https://visitation.tdcj.texas.gov/Visitation/startLoginAction.action and start account setup from the login screen. Choose to create a new account, then enter the email address you want tied to your visitor profile. After submitting, check your inbox - TDCJ sends a message with a link and a 7-digit validation code. You'll need that code to finish registration.

You'll need to set up the account yourself - TDCJ staff can't create one for you. Once your account exists, staff can help update things like your name and address. But the email address you register with is permanent. It can't be changed or deleted from the system, so choose carefully.

After setting your password, the scheduler takes you to the Background Questionnaire. Answer every question before moving forward - the system won't let you continue until it's complete.
