Understanding Placerville Jail's Weekly Visit Limits: What Counts and What Doesn't

Placerville Jail allows each visitor a maximum of three visits per week, with each visit lasting 30 minutes. The key detail: this limit applies to you as the visitor, not just to the person you're seeing. Every time you walk in counts as one of your three weekly visits. Once you've used all three, you'll need to wait until the next visiting week starts.

There's also a daily limit: you can only visit once per day under normal circumstances. The weekly cap doesn't let you stack multiple visits on the same day. If you're juggling work, childcare, or travel, think of it as two separate rules working together: no more than three visits in a week, and no more than one visit per day - unless you get pre-approval from jail administration (more on that below).
