How to Mail a Letter to Someone at El Paso County Jail (send to the Arkansas vendor)
Mail for someone at El Paso County Jail doesn't go directly to the jail. Personal letters and photos need to be sent to a third-party mail vendor in Arkansas for processing.
Send all personal mail for inmates to EPSO's mail vendor at: P.O. Box 16120, Jonesboro, AR 72401. If you address your letter directly to the jail instead of this P.O. Box, it won't be processed as personal mail.
On the front of the envelope, write the inmate's full booking name and their Admit/Booking (Admit) number. Don't use a DOC number, nickname, abbreviation, or initials - this is one of the most common reasons mail gets returned, especially when inmates have similar names.
Include a legible, complete return address with your first and last name. If the return address is missing or can't be read, your letter won't make it through.

Don't send books or other bound materials to the mail vendor. Anything bound will be rejected and returned.
Stick to standard paper size - no larger than 8.5 by 11 inches. Oversized pages or unusual formats are more likely to cause delays.
