Sending Care Packages & Other Packages to El Paso County Jail: Approved Vendor and Carrier Restrictions
Sending a care package or any package to someone at El Paso County Jail? The jail restricts both where you can order from and which carriers can deliver. Follow the approved method below—otherwise your package may be refused.
El Paso County Jail only accepts online food and care packages through one source: the facility's My Care program via My Care Pack. No other third-party vendors. No food items from anywhere else. If you order from a different site, the package won't reach your loved one.
Warning: El Paso County Jail won't accept packages shipped via OnTrac. Before ordering anything, confirm the carrier.
Legal mail, packages, parcels, and government-issued documents go directly to the jail: El Paso County Jail, 2739 E. Las Vegas St., Colorado Springs, CO 80906-1522. Include the inmate's full booking name and Admit/Booking Number on the envelope so staff can match it to the right person.
Personal mail - including photos - goes somewhere different. Send it to EPSO's third-party mail vendor: P.O. Box 16120, Jonesboro, AR 72401. Include the inmate's full name and Admit/Booking Number so it gets processed correctly.
Practical Tips Order and Confirm
- ✓ Order food/care packages only through the facility’s approved My Care Pack program - other third-party food sources won’t be accepted.
- ✓ Before anything ships, confirm the carrier and avoid OnTrac; OnTrac-delivered packages will be refused.
- ✓ If you’re trying to send something that isn’t a My Care Pack order, don’t treat it like a “care package” - use the correct address type (legal/government vs. personal mail vendor) and include the inmate’s full name plus Admit/Booking Number.
