Ely State Prison, NV

Ely State Prison uses the GettingOut platform for electronic communication. To send messages, photos, or 30-second video clips, or to schedule video visits, create a gettingout.com account. Everything sent or done through GettingOut, including video visits, is monitored and recorded. Attorneys who need non-recorded exceptions for video visits or calls should create a GettingOut account and email ViapathNVTechs@viapath.com with their name, address, phone numbers, and BAR number. Phone access can also be restricted by NDOC, including limits on call length, call hours, number of calls, monitoring or recording, and blocking certain number types. Calls may be billed to the person receiving the call depending on their phone provider. Offenders can also use NDOC Trust funds to buy debit calling time through the facility's Offender Services Commissary Section.

Ely State Prison uses ViaPath/ConnectNetwork (AdvancePay) for many deposits. You can add funds through the ConnectNetwork website, the mobile app, automated phone service, kiosks where available, Western Union, or by mailing a check or money order to the AdvancePay Service address (follow facility-specific mailing instructions). ViaPath accepts Visa and Mastercard for credit, debit, and many prepaid card deposits. Card deposits to AdvancePay typically show up almost immediately. NDOC also lists other options: a lockbox deposit coupon with a cashier's check or money order, plus Access Corrections credit or debit deposits and phone deposits. If you mail a money order or cashier's check directly to NDOC, it's held for review and generally becomes available 14 calendar days after receipt.
