How to Schedule Your First Visit at Estes Unit Using the TDCJ Online Scheduler

Head to the official TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler login page. From here, you can either sign in with your email and password or create a new account to schedule a visit at the Estes Unit.

First-time users need to create an account before scheduling anything. During setup, you'll enter a valid email address and submit it. TDCJ will then send you a registration email containing a 7-digit validation code and a link to finish registering.

1. Open the registration email and click the link - it will send you back into the visitation scheduler to complete setup.
2. Re-enter your email address - use the same email you submitted when you created the account.
3. Enter the 7-digit validation key - type in the code exactly as shown in the email.
4. Create your password - make sure it meets every password requirement shown on the screen, or it will not save.

When adding your loved one to your profile, the scheduler asks for their TDCJ or SID number. This number must be exactly 8 digits. Too few digits, too many, or extra characters, and the system may not find the person you're looking for.

Don't know the 8-digit TDCJ or SID number? Use the TDCJ Offender Search tool on the TDCJ website to look it up. Once you have the correct number, go back to the scheduler and add the inmate using that exact 8-digit ID.

After you submit the relationship request, it won't become active right away. Your request sits on your visitor home page under "Relation Requests Pending Approval" until unit staff approves it. You need that approval before you can schedule a visit.

• ✓ Video/Tablet (this is not the same as the Securus Video program offered at limited units)
• ✓ Availability can vary based on your visitor-inmate relationship status, the facility’s visitation setup, and the inmate’s visitation privileges. If the system offers it, you may also see options to request an Extended or Special Visit.

Troubleshoot

• ✓ You never got the registration email: double-check that you entered a valid email address, then look for the message that includes the link and 7-digit validation code.
• ✓ Your profile will not save: re-check your phone number format. It must be entered as XXX XXX XXXX with spaces, not dashes.
• ✓ The scheduler cannot find your loved one: confirm you are entering the TDCJ or SID number as exactly 8 digits.
• ✓ You cannot schedule yet even after adding the inmate: look at your home page for “Relation Requests Pending Approval.” You have to wait for unit staff approval before scheduling.
