FDC Philadelphia runs on a rotating monthly schedule, with each housing unit assigned a specific visiting day—sometimes with split or shared time blocks. Most visits require prescheduling by email. Send your request to the facility's visiting scheduler with the inmate and visitor details listed in the facility notice. (3-South is the exception and doesn't require prescheduling.) Tuesdays are attorney-only. The notice breaks out weekday, weekend, and holiday time blocks separately for male and female inmates. During your visit, the inmate can have up to three visitors—no swapping mid-visit. Physical contact is limited to brief embraces at the start and end. Prolonged or inappropriate contact, including with children or infants, can end your visit immediately. Bring a current government photo ID that matches the address you provided when scheduling.
