You can bring cash for the vending machines - up to $50.00 per visitor, regardless of age. That money is for snacks and beverages in the visiting area only.

  • $1 bills
  • $5 bills
  • $10 bills
  • $20 bills

Do not hand money to an inmate: Under no circumstances will money be given to an inmate.

Keep your keys simple. You're allowed one (1) vehicle key in the visiting area. Leave extra keys and keychains at home or locked in your car.

Keyless entry devices are generally not allowed. The only exception: if the duty warden (or designee) visually inspects the device, confirms it's your only way to access your vehicle, and determines it doesn't pose a security threat.

If you take prescription medication, bring only what you’ll need for the time you’re actually at the facility. Florida Women’s Reception Center allows only the dosage necessary for the period of the visit.

  • Bring each prescription in its original prescribed container
  • Make sure the label is clearly readable
  • The label must show the medication type
  • The label must show dosage requirements
  • The label must show the name of the person the medication was prescribed to

Infant Supplies

  • No more than five (5) diapers
  • Up to three (3) clear baby bottles
  • Up to two (2) toddler sipper cups
  • Up to three (3) clear plastic jars of sealed (unopened) baby food

Two things that trip people up: don't try to give money directly to an inmate, and don't assume you can bring a key fob inside. If you have a keyless device you truly need to access your vehicle, it must be visually inspected and approved by the duty warden or designee first.
