Picking Up Property or a Firearm from Forsyth County Jail: Hours, ID, and Appointment Steps

The Property & Evidence room is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Fridays have shorter hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID - it's required for all Property & Evidence appointments, whether you're picking something up or just asking questions.

1. Call to schedule your firearm pick-up appointment - Contact 678-513-5895 to set an appointment for firearm release.

To schedule a firearm pick-up, you'll need to provide your full legal name, a valid government-issued ID, date of birth, Social Security number, and citizenship status. This information is required for the firearm release process.
