Picking Up Property (or a Firearm) from Forsyth County Property & Evidence: Hours, Appointments, and What to Bring
Getting property (or a firearm) back from Forsyth County Property & Evidence is straightforward. Show up at the right time, schedule an appointment, and bring the right information.
Forsyth County Property & Evidence room hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. On Friday, hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Schedule an appointment before you go. The unit handles a high volume of releases, and walk-ins can mean long waits. Try to give at least 24 hours notice so staff have time to pull your items.
For property release questions and to set up an appointment, you can email evidence@forsythco.com. The more specific you are in your message, the faster staff can match your request to the correct case and items.
