How to Set Up Your TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler Account (for Fort Stockton visitors)

You have to create your own account in the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler. TDCJ staff cannot do this for you. Once your account exists, staff can help update details like your name or address, but the initial setup is on you.

1. Start account creation with your email: Use a valid email address you can access right now.
2. Check your email for the validation message: The system sends an email that includes a 7-digit validation code and a link to finish registration.
3. Complete validation using the link or code: Follow the link from the email, or enter the 7-digit code when prompted, to move forward with registration.

After your email is validated, you'll move to the Background Questionnaire. Every question must be answered before you can continue. If you get stuck, go back and look for skipped items. Even one unanswered question can block your progress.

Next, complete your Visitor Profile. Fill out all required fields and pay close attention to the phone number format. The scheduler requires your telephone number as XXX XXX XXXX with spaces, not dashes. Typing 555-123-4567 can trigger errors, so use spaces instead.

To request visits, you need to add the inmate to your profile. Search using their TDCJ number or SID number, which must be exactly 8 digits. Double-check that you entered all 8 digits without leaving off a leading zero or adding an accidental space.

Don't know the inmate's TDCJ or SID number? Look it up using the TDCJ Offender Search tool first, then come back and enter the 8-digit number. Having the correct number upfront makes this step much faster.

Once you find the correct person, submit a Relationship Request. After you confirm and submit, the request goes to the inmate's unit for verification. TDCJ staff will verify your relationship with the inmate. You won't be able to schedule visits until that verification is complete.
