At Fountain Correctional Center, communication is set up for outgoing calls only. Incarcerated people generally cannot receive regular incoming phone calls. All calls and many electronic messages are routinely monitored and recorded, and people in custody use assigned PINs to access the phone system. Fountain Correctional Center follows ADOC guidance directing families to Access Secure Deposits (Access Corrections) as the primary way to add funds online or by phone. The vendor deducts transaction service fees from each deposit. ADOC lists four accepted deposit channels: online, by phone, cash deposits at CashPayToday retail locations (more than 800 statewide), or mailed money orders sent to Access Corrections – Alabama DOC. Money orders must go to Access Corrections – Alabama DOC, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132, using the Money Order Deposit Form. Do not include cash, letters, stamps, photos, or notes. Daily deposits are limited to $900. Returned money orders or checks carry a $25 handling fee, and deposits (or combined deposits) of $3,000 or more require a Social Security number under federal rules. Incentive/property packages are ordered through Union Supply/alinmatepackage and require facility approval. Union Supply says orders will be delivered to facilities by September 26, 2025.
