The incarcerated person kicks off the process. They need to submit a visitor's list to their Case Manager before you can register online. If this is your first visit, ask your loved one to add you to their list, then wait until they confirm you've been approved. Trying to register too early just creates confusion and delays.

What

  1. Go to the GTL VisitMe site - Use https://delawarecountypa.gtlvisitme.com/app to start the visitation process.
  2. Create your account - Set up a username and password in GTL VisitMe.

Once your account is set up, enter your visitor information in GTL VisitMe. Then wait for an approval email. Don't jump ahead to scheduling - that email is your green light.

After the approval email arrives, log back into https://delawarecountypa.gtlvisitme.com/app with your username and password. Pick an available time slot for your in-person visit. If you don't see the day or time you wanted, availability depends on the facility's scheduling and housing assignments.

Schedule reminder: In-person visitation is Monday through Friday, 8:45am to 10:00pm, based on housing assignments. Each person is authorized one visit per week - either one video visit or one in-person visit.

Reception Arrival Requirements

  • ✓ Current, valid photo ID (driver’s license, military/government ID, passport, or a picture ID issued by a city, county, state, or government agency)
  • ✓ If you’re driving onto the property: a current valid driver’s license and valid updated vehicle insurance
  • ✓ A plan to arrive without ride-hailing (Uber/Lyft and similar services aren’t allowed on the property)

When you arrive, you'll need to identify yourself and register at the front. Visiting with someone elderly, disabled, or facing another hardship? The Visitation Supervisor or Shift Commander can grant exceptions at their discretion - just be ready to explain the situation at check-in.
