George W. Hill posts its dress code as a PDF on the facility's visitation page. If you're not sure whether an outfit will pass, check that PDF before you leave. Dress code violations are one of the easiest ways to get turned away.

Video visits aren't more relaxed. At George W. Hill, the dress code is the same whether you're visiting in person or on screen - plan your outfit accordingly.

  • Choose modest, non-revealing clothing so you don’t get stuck changing plans at the door
  • Avoid see-through or sheer fabrics, even if you’re wearing layers underneath
  • Skip outfits with provocative, offensive, or gang-related graphics
  • Keep accessories simple; if something could slow down screening, leave it at home
  • When you’re on the fence, dress more conservatively than you think you need to

Driving onto George W. Hill property? Bring a valid driver's license. A photo or copy won't cut it.

Heads up: Ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft are not allowed to come onto George W. Hill property.

If you wear a veil or face covering for religious reasons, the facility has a specific entry process. Female visitors with religious face coverings will be processed using privacy procedures - the covering will be temporarily removed as part of check-in and check-out.
