Before Your Video Visit: Gibson County Jail's ID and Age Requirements (Checklist)

Gibson County Jail has no overall age restriction for visitors. That said, anyone 15 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Note: Visitors age 15 and under must come with a parent or legal guardian.

Every adult visitor needs a photo ID at check-in. Bring one with you or you'll be turned away at the front desk.
Bringing a child who isn't allowed to visit? You can't leave them unattended in the facility. Make childcare arrangements ahead of time for any kids who won't be joining the visit.
Remember: Kids 15 and under need a parent or legal guardian with them, and children who aren't allowed to visit cannot be left unattended.
Proper attire is required at Gibson County Jail. When in doubt, dress conservatively to avoid any issues during your visit.

Day of Checklist

- Get there 10 minutes early - Give yourself enough time to arrive and be ready for the on-site video visit.
- Check in at the jail - Complete check-in before your visit time.
- Go to your assigned terminal seat - Take your seat at the terminal a couple minutes before the visit starts.
Before you leave: Double-check that you have your photo ID, you're dressed appropriately, and you've allowed enough time to arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and seating at your assigned terminal.
