Green Haven Correctional Facility

Green Haven holds visits on Wednesdays plus rotating weekend days. Check the A–L / M–Z rotation for Saturdays and Sundays—Wednesdays are open to all. Hours run 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and you must arrive by 1:30 PM. Enter through the side (handicap) entrance for Visitor Processing, where you'll be screened. Processing pauses around 10:30 AM for the facility count and resumes once it clears, so build extra time into your arrival. You're limited to one visit per day and two per week, with up to three visitors per visit plus one child age five or under who must sit on an adult's lap. If the visiting room gets overcrowded, staff ask for voluntary terminations first. Otherwise, visits may end after three hours on a first-in, first-out basis.
