Greene Correctional Facility

Visits at Greene Correctional Facility happen on weekends. Your visiting day depends on the last digit of your loved one's DIN—check the posted weekend calendar (holidays are marked with an asterisk). General population hours run 9:00 AM–3:30 PM. You can arrive as early as 7:30 AM, but no later than 2:00 PM. Each incarcerated person gets one visit per visiting day, with up to three visitors plus one child under five (the child must sit on an adult's lap). For those in SHU or RRU, one non-legal visit is allowed per seven-day period (Saturday through Friday), including Saturday evening hours from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM with latest arrival at 7:30 PM. If the visiting room gets crowded, staff will first ask for volunteers to end their visits early. If that's not enough, visits may be cut short based on distance traveled and time already spent.
