Guadalupe County Jail Visitation Schedule, Hours, and Rules (A–L vs M–Z & 2x 30-minute limit)
Visiting at the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center comes down to timing and preparation. Your visiting days depend on the inmate's last name, hours differ for male vs. female housing, and each inmate gets two 30-minute visits per week—no exceptions.
Last name starts with A through L? Your visiting days are Friday and Sunday. Show up on the wrong day and you won't get in.
Last name starts with M through Z? You'll visit on Saturday and Monday. Double-check the last-name grouping before heading out - mixing this up means missing your visit.
Male visitation runs in two blocks: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, then 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. No visiting from 10:30 AM to noon - don't plan to arrive during that gap.
Female visitation runs from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It's an evening window, so give yourself extra time to arrive and check in before visits begin.
Each inmate can receive two visits per week, 30 minutes each. That's 60 minutes total - but you can't combine them into one longer session. Two separate 30-minute visits is the rule.
