Three Ways to Put Money on an Inmate's Account at Gwinnett County Jail (Online, Kiosk, Mail)
Gwinnett County Jail accepts deposits three ways: online, at a lobby kiosk, or by mail.
To deposit from home, use JailATM with a debit or credit card. Enter the inmate's information, select your deposit amount, and complete the payment.
Fee reminder: There is a fee to use the online JailATM service, and Gwinnett County Jail will not give fee amounts over the phone.
Prefer to deposit in person? Use the Smart Deposit Kiosk in the Gwinnett County Jail lobby. It accepts cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Select the inmate on screen, enter your payment info, and complete the transaction.
Fee reminder: The Smart Deposit Kiosk service charges a fee.
You can also mail a money order to the jail. This takes longer than electronic deposits, but works well if you'd rather not use a card.
- ✓ Use only U.S. Postal Service money orders or Western Union money orders.
- ✓ Write the inmate’s name and ID number on the money order.
- ✓ Address the envelope to the jail and write “For Deposit Only” on the envelope.
