Sending Food Packages Through Union Supply to Gwinnett County Jail: What You Need to Know

Union Supply handles food package orders for inmates at GDC State Prisons, Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), and Probation Detention Centers. This isn't a "send anywhere" service - it's specifically tied to the GDC food package program for those facility types.

To order by mail, send your order to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059. Copy the address exactly so your order reaches the right department.

Prefer to order by phone? Call 1-562-361-5719, or use the toll-free number: 1-855-247-0563.

To fax your order, use 1-310-603-1188.

Note: GDC provides a downloadable PDF version of its food package program page, which can be helpful if you want a saved copy of the official instructions.

For inmates in GDC State Prisons and ITFs, packages are capped at $100 per offender or 15 lbs. - whichever you hit first. If your cart exceeds either threshold, you'll need to trim it down.

Probation Detention Centers have tighter limits: $50 per offender or 7 lbs. per package, whichever comes first. Keep both the dollar amount and weight in mind when selecting items.

Here's something that catches families off guard: if multiple people place orders for the same offender, those orders get combined into one package. The combined total still can't exceed the spending or weight limits. Even separate orders from different people count toward the same cap.

Every order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling fee. This charge is non-refundable, so factor it into your total each time you order.

Not every Georgia facility uses Union Supply. Riverbend Private Prison, for example, uses the Access Securepak package program instead - and will continue doing so until further notice.
