Prepare to receive phone calls from Hale County Jail
You can prepare to receive a call from someone at Hale County Jail. InmateAid’s August 2026 guidance says the person in custody calls you, not the other way around.
That August 2026 guidance names Securus Tech as Hale County Jail’s phone provider and says calls are recorded except attorney calls. You cannot call the person in custody directly. Calling the jail office is separate from speaking with your family member or friend.
InmateAid recommends setting up a Securus Tech account before the first call to avoid delaying the connection. Its jail calls page is the third-party resource that guidance points you to for account-setup and rate information.
For questions about the phone provider and which recipient-account setup route to use, call 806-293-5377, the number the Hale County Sheriff’s Office lists for jail contact.
