Before Your First Visit to Hancock State Prison: Becoming an Approved Visitor
Your first visit starts before you ever show up at the gate. At Hancock State Prison, you'll need to get approved first, then request your visit through the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) online visitation system.
You can't just show up and schedule a visit at Hancock State Prison. First, you need to become an approved visitor - that means completing the GDC Visitation Request Form and submitting it to Hancock State Prison. Once approved, you'll request your actual visits through the GDC online visitation form.
Download the GDC Visitation Request Form and fill it out completely. You'll need the offender's GDC ID plus your own details: name, email address, relationship, date of birth, and ID type. Having everything ready before you start saves time and prevents delays from missing fields.

Once you've completed the Visitation Request Form, submit it to Hancock State Prison.
