How to Schedule a Weekend Visit at Hancock State Prison

General population weekend visitation runs Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Plan around those days and hours.

Not all visitation at Hancock happens on weekends. Tier I and Tier II visits are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM - completely separate from the Saturday/Sunday general population schedule. If your loved one is in Tier I or Tier II, weekend hours won't apply.

Note: State holiday visitation follows the same days and hours as weekend general population visitation: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (general population only).

Submit your visit request through the Georgia Department of Corrections online visitation form. That's where every visit request starts.

  • Your date of birth
  • Your ID type selection: Driver’s License, State ID, or None
