Sending a food package to Hancock State Prison (Union Supply): limits, costs, and how to order
If your loved one is at Hancock State Prison, you can send them a food package through Union Supply — it's one of the approved vendors for Georgia Department of Corrections facilities. Just make sure you stay within the program limits and submit your order before the deadline.
Union Supply is authorized by the Georgia Department of Corrections to deliver food packages to inmates at State Prisons, including Hancock State Prison. If your person is housed there, you're good to go - Union Supply orders are an approved way to get food items to them.
Place your order by mail. Send the completed form to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.
GDC caps Union Supply orders at $100 per offender for State Prisons and Integrated Treatment Facilities. Your total order - including all items - needs to stay at or under that amount.
There's also a 15-pound weight limit per package. Whichever cap you hit first - $100 or 15 pounds - that's where your order stops.
Every order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling fee. This charge is non-refundable.
Ordering from multiple people? Union Supply consolidates orders for the same offender into one package. The combined total still can't exceed the $100 or 15-pound limits, so coordinate with other family members if more than one person plans to order.
Deadline warning: Any Union Supply orders received after the posted program deadline will not be accepted.
Before you submit: The $2.95 shipping and handling charge is non-refundable, so double-check your order details before you send it in.
