On-site video visits at the Visitation Center must be scheduled one day in advance. Walk-ins cannot book same-day appointments. Set your appointment first, then plan your travel around it.

Daily visits are limited. Each inmate can have only one on-site visit per visitation day, and you as a visitor can only see one inmate per visitation day. If you want to see more than one person in custody, plan for separate days.

Sessions are short. On-site visits are limited to 30 minutes, so arrive ready to make the most of your time.

Terminal space is limited. Only two visitors can sit at each video terminal, so keep your group small and decide ahead of time who will be at the screen.

This terminal visit counts as the inmate's one on-site visit for the day. Once used, they cannot have another on-site visit until the next visitation day.

Bring valid identification. If you are not sure what ID the facility accepts, confirm before you go. Showing up without acceptable ID means getting turned away.

  • Cell phones
  • Purses
  • Other personal items (carry as little as possible)
  • Smoking items (smoking is not permitted in the visitation area)
  • Food
  • Drinks or beverages

Note: Visitors are subject to search before entering the visitation area. If you refuse the search, you will be denied entry.

Searches are part of the normal entry process. The key thing to know: refusing the search means you will not be allowed in, even with a scheduled visit.
